Veterus Consulting is a private limited company founded in Hampshire in 2007 with a mission to develop world-class businesses that are agile to opportunities and resilient to disruptions.

Veterus teaches business leaders how to develop business continuity policies, strategies, plans, exercises and audits into a business continuity management system that prevents or mitigates against creeping crises and sudden shock disruptions that can threaten the continued delivery of business critical products and services.

About Bradley Wright

The MD, Bradley Wright CEng, MSc, MEPS, MIET  is an experienced business continuity and resilience consultant with deep and broad practical knowledge of delivering continuity of operations and mission critical activities world-wide at the end of extended logistic chains.

A retired Royal Navy Weapon Engineer Officer and respected Government Chief Emergency Planning Officer, Bradley has held senior responsibility within a variety of national and international organizations, providing him with broad and deep experience in the development and practice of corporate resilience, emergency planning, business continuity and crisis management solutions.

Bradley has appeared on television and radio as an emergency planning expert in relation to severe flooding events, pandemic flu planning, mass prophylaxis of medication and radioactive contamination emergencies. He is an entertaining and accomplished public speaker who utilises appropriate humour to to illustrate keynote speeches and workshops to large audiences on a broad range of specialist subjects; also drawing on experiences gained during his successful leadership, training and direction of multi-disciplinary international teams during a variety of operations and emergencies, ashore and afloat around the world which have included international war-fighting and peacekeeping operations in a CBRNE environment.

In his last Royal Navy role, where he was responsible for the fulfillment of short notice operational manning requests and the Royal Navy’s civil contingency plans (ranging from Foot and Mouth, Firefighters strikes to London Bombings and Evacuation and State Funerals), he routinely briefed the Second Sea Lord and other Navy Board members in the HMS Victory’s Wardroom, on a variety of worldwide operational issues and was selected as the keynote speaker by his peers and tutors during his time at Military Staff college.

Bradley was born in Northumberland and has been an active martial artist since 1975 studying various styles of Karate, Judo, Escrima and Tai Chi. He earned his black belt in Shotokai karate in 1986 and has represented the Royal Navy in rowing and athletics (400m and high jump).  A qualified Expedition Leader, BSAC Sport Diver and RYA Yachtmaster (offshore) he also plays bluegrass guitar and 5-string banjo. He currently lives in Portsmouth, Hampshire with his family.
